Chapter 1

I never wanted to be what I am now. I never had a choice but to become what I am. I was born with this weird  life but always wanted to get rid of it. I was gifted by the gods to become their hero. No one has ever known them like me but that might be because I am the daughter of one of their heroes. I was the daughter of the great Jason Grace and Piper Mclean.

I was like my dad out of anything but had my mom’s hair color. I was raised in Camp Jupiter my whole life but also went to Camp Half-Blood when Dad went. I am a daddy’s girl but my twin brother, Max, he was a total momma’s boy. He looked like mom while I looked like dad. He had Dad’s hair though while I had mom’s.

I was at Camp Jupiter sword practicing with Dad while we waited for Percy and his son, Luke, to come back with the others. We were going to be extreme training for the next two weeks. I was happy because I would be paired up with Luke, since we would be helping our parents. Luke was the guy I had a crush on and I honestly want to tell him but I was too scared that he wouldn’t like me back. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I was hit in my stomach and fell to the ground. Yep Dad knows how to bring me back to earth.

“Gotta pay attention Kristen,”He said helping me up,”So stop daydreaming about Luke.”

“I know Dad,”I said getting up,”I just don’t know what all is going on. I really like him you know.”

“Like who?”I heard Luke’s voice said from behind me.

“You know I really like my brother,”I said getting all nervous as I turned to him and my dad laughed,”He's just so annoying.”

“I don’t believe that you know,”He said looking at me,”I know you, Kristy. So who is it really?”

“Hey Kris,”Zack Zhang yelled for me,”I need your help over here.”

“Coming Zack,”I yelled back,”Tell you later, Luke.”

I ran over to Zack and gave him a high-five. I know that I can trust him to get me out of something I don’t want to do. I turned to my father to see him shake his head at me. What I’m a girl who doesn’t know how to tell her best friend how she feels.

Percy looked at his son and threw his hands up as if saying ‘what was that’. I looked at Luke to see him mouth “I got Nervous” and then looked at me like I was all he saw. I turned to my dad to see him doing the same thing Percy did to Luke.

I ran to my mom knowing she would be able to help me out with all of this. I went up to our home and ran in and up to the room. I found her with my baby sister, Selena, rocking in a chair. I stayed at the door and just watched the two.

“I know you are there Kristen,”Mom said not even looking up,”What’s the problem this time?”

“Luke,”I answered and she stood up.

She sat Selena in her crib and took me to my room. I told my mother about my crush when I was 12 and now that I’m 16 you would think I would have told him. I was just so scared of getting hurt but at the same time nervous that he would laugh at me. Why does this have to be so hard!? It’s not like I was on my deathbed and had to chose between two people.

“You made something up didn’t you,”Mom said and I nodded my head,”Kristen Nico Grace, is the girl who doesn’t get scared. Is the girl who stood by her father when the Camp was attacked. Is the girl who is right here. So why are you so nervous around him.”

“I don’t know,”I answered,”Part of me wants to go for it but the other half is scared on what can happen when he finds out. Mommy What do I do?”

“First tell him,”She said looking behind me,”Then let it go from there.”

“How do I tell Luke Charles Jackson that I like him more than a friend,”I said standing up.

“You just did,”Mom said pointing behind me.

I spun around to see him standing right there with a shock expression on his face. I felt my cheeks go red and I looked down. Then I felt a hand under my chin that lifted my head up to meet his sea-green eyes. He looked like his mom, Annabeth, but had his dad’s eyes. He gave me a smile as soon my brother was at the door smiling like an idiot.

“How about this,”Luke said kissing me.

It was like fireworks, but he made it short. I looked at him as he gave me his amazing smile. My mom got up and left right as Selena started to fuss. She also dragged Max out of here by his ear to give us some time by ourselves.

“So you like me,”Luke said with an evil smile.

“I do,”I squeaked out.

“Well then that makes this easier on me,”He said as he pulled me closer to him,”I love you Nic. I have since we were little. I just never knew how to tell you.”

“I loved you since then too, Char,”I said wrapping my arms around his neck,”I just never knew how to tell you or anything. I was terrified about it.”

“Well at least our parents got our backs,”He said leaning in.

Before our lips could meet, there was a clearing of a throat. I turned to see Dad and Percy standing there. I gave a laugh as we broke apart. They came in and I knew something was up. Dad had his evil look on high and Percy just looked like he was thinking for once.

“Did you ask her?”Percy asked.

“Did you tell him?”Dad said with a knowing look,”Or do I need to get your brother to do it for you.”

“We already told each other,”Luke and I said together.

“Kristen will you be my girlfriend?”Luke ask nervous for some reason.

“Yes I would love too,”I said hugging him.

“Was that so hard,”Our fathers said together.

Chapter 2

 I was sitting upside down on the couch playing a video game while everyone else was who-knows-where. I was on level 9 of the new Heroes of Time game Hephaestus and Apollo made. It was when Hercules the LAME was going through the challenges Hera had given him to do. I honestly wanted to shoot him with the golden bow my character had but then I would lose the game.

I was killing a monster when the door opened. I stayed where I was not even thinking about seeing who it was. I just kept to my game and tried not to care since today was a free day. I was about to finish the level when a sharp pain hit my neck.

I flipped over and stood up. There was a man with a dart gun but nothing clicked in my head. I took out what had hit my neck and looked at it. It was a dart but why would he hit me with it.

“Hey why did you…”I fell to the ground tired as heck.

The man put the gun away and came to me. I layed there and watch as he picked me up and put me on the medical bed. I was strapped down and then wheel away. I heard screams but the darkness took me away before anything else could happen.

The subjects have just arrived. It took a few years to track them down but we finally did it. The Demigod Project will finally happen and this time no one will be able to save them. The project actually began 16 years ago when we captured their parents but after they got pregnant some THING saved them and we lost track of the projects. When we found out that one of them had twins we monitored which one we wanted.

We ended up getting the girl since she was the most dangerous. So we have Luke Jackson, Zack Zhang, Lindsey Valdez, and Kristen Grace. Hero of Olympus children and now our subjects. But two of them stand out of course. The son of Percy and Annabeth as well as The daughter of Jason and Piper. Those two have always been our focus on all of this and now in our hands.

The four of them were in a room on beds strapped down. We have been giving them sleeping gas to keep them under. Right now, although, I was watching them with big plans. They had called me insane but no more. I got proof and I will make everyone pay for what they have said or done.

I walked into the room and over to the sleeping kids. I walked over to Kristen and petted her head. She was beautiful and truly the granddaughter of Zeus and Aphrodite. She would be the biggest part of this than any of them. I was pulled out of my thoughts as one of the scientist walked in with my report.

“I got their information,”He said,”They are harder to get then anything I was told to do.”

“Just read it off to me,”I snapped,”Or else.”

“Subject Fire,”He said listening,”Is more normal than we think. She is like her father but also not like him in a demigod race. Her mother had to be a child of Hecate or something. Subject Tiger is like both of his parents and have a stronger bond to all of them. It’s like he has to protect them and everything.

“Subject Water Hazard is like his mom with his father’s power. He also has the deep bond with his lover. Now Subject Lightning is more difficult. She has both of her parents powers. She can be like either one of them when ever she wants to. She is also the one Subject Water Hazard has the bond to.”

“Good,”I said looking at the young girl,”Is there anything else. If not leave us right now.”

“No Mrs.Kate Rachels,”He said leaving.

Now I can finally get started with my research. I stood back as the boys came in. They took a bed and rolled them away. They left Kristen here and I smiled at the girl. She looked so peaceful but that won’t be for long.

I walked out and to the control room, which looks over all 4 rooms. In there is where I will be watching them. I had each of them monitored by someone. So if they tried something I would know of it first then fix that little issue. I took my seat and gave my evil grin.

“Let’s begin,”I said as I heard the pain come from the kids’ mouths.
