Everything seemed to spin as I moved within myself. I suddenly found myself back in complete control of my own body. I looked around in complete disbelief. Blinking I pinched myself just to be sure I was awake. The bodies were still lieing on the floor. The smell of fresh blood was surrounding me.
I fell down to my knees, the pain shooting up through my legs as I hit the cold concrete below me barely reached my conscious mind. I was so overwhelmed with regret and confusion. What had happened!? How? Why? I kept playing the images back over in my mind. I looked down at my hands. They were covered in the warm, sticky blood of the people I had come to consider friends.
The tears seemed to flow so freely as I lost myself to my pain and confusion. I barely even heard the quiet chuckle and faint fluttering of wings as the fairy flew off back to her forest. Imprint
