in a black cloak escaped the dungeon and ventured into forests with nobody detecting his presence. He didn’t help Wrickven or his army, throwing them away like disposable pawns. He fled, masked by nighttime, and returned to the organization.

Hello All!

The second season of Demon Hunter has nearly wrapped up. A fifth bonus episode will soon be released in the future. Expect that episode before season three premieres in October 2021.

For anybody confused about the sudden transition between Striktin and Locket is through Legend: Season Two’s story. It will get a soft-reboot in March 2021 but will keep the Demon Hunter party’s storyline. Legend: Season Two sees the Demon Hunter party fleeing the town of Striktin after a new threat emerges. That’s why Rech asked about Rik’s inability or lack of kindness towards his old town; the now destroyed Striktin.

Thank you all for reading Demon Hunter S2: Locket. This was an extremely fun season to write and I can’t wait for the third season to tell the remaining tales of the party in Locket.

A quick explanation of Rik’s sudden slaughter of Wrickven; Rik isn’t a hero and doesn’t respect a fair duel. He wants to do things the quickest way he could, even if he must do stuff that would go against a normal person’s morals. He isn’t like us anymore---he’s tainted.

Anyway, until next time, I bid you a good day.

P.S; Unlike Jayhawk Television (JTV), The Underground Tales (TUT) is separated into years. 2019 was the first year of TUT with 2020 being the second year.

Episode Five "Falls Tower, Golem, and Nobleman"

The man in solid black attire escaped Locket, leaving no traces of him behind. He let Wirckven take the fall for the event, later nicknamed the ‘Locket Invasion’.

After escaping, the man headed to a black brick watchtower near the large city of Royal Falls. The watchtower, nicknamed the ‘Falls Tower’, housed three other people like him. All dressed in black cloaks, masking their faces with a face mask; A symbol painted on it. The symbol was of a triangle with two of its lines. The third one, however, was curled into the middle before shooting slightly up. It nearly formed a smaller triangle within the bigger incomplete one.

“Hell, you’re back. Did Locket fall?” A female asked, being Hell’s supervisor Elaine Vike.

Hell shook his head. He brandished his dagger, throwing it on the ground. It bounced off the ground and stuck to a wooden pillar. The hilt stook out as the blade’s tip found itself slightly embedded in the pillar. On the hilt was a black phoenix symbol.

“Ha! The great and mysterious Brian Hell has failed a mission. What a joke. The organization won’t go easy on you.” Elaine remarked.

“Shut up!” He barked, sitting down on a chair in the corner of the rather small living room area of the watchtower. The watchtower was built with great height but limited width, leaving the people living in the tower without any personal space.

The other two people chuckled, staring off into the distance. Neither of them wanted to antagonize Brian further. Elaine, on the other hand, was perfectly fine with irritating him. She strived to push his buttons.

“What are you going to tell the leader? That you failed to eliminate a town? You’ll become a laughingstock if you do.” She reflected on her words briefly. “Actually, please do inform the entire organization of your failure. Oh, I could already hear the laughter like music to my ears.”

“Shut up! I wasn’t expecting for there to be somebody stronger than that damned demon lord.” Brian remarked.

The other people in the watchtower glanced over at him. Elaine’s ears perked up. Brian noticed their movements and shook his head. “Some guy armed with a chain named Rike or something. Him and an elven assassin; That elf was too fast for my eyes to see.”

“What are their threat levels? Orange?” She asked.

“Red,”

Elaine shook her head as she stood up. “Let’s prepare our counterattack; Khiv, Ari, prepare an army of demons.”

They nodded, jumping out of the watchtower and sliding down a wooden pillar. They rushed off to build up an entire army of demons to topple Locket. Elaine and Brian remained behind, staring off into the distance. “Red,” She spoke, breaking the short-lived silence that formed above them. “Rike, you said? And an elven assassin. Is Rike a human?” Brian nodded. “A human and an elf, what a weird pairing. Anyway, prepare yourself. As soon as they get the army built up, we’re engaging Locket and destroying it. That Rike guy and the elf will be dead.”

During the Locket Invasion, one man remained in his house. Unlike his neighbors who rushed off to protect their hometown, this man----a dirty man with aging features and a vibrant light-gray beard---locked himself in his house, engrossed with his research. His research was geared towards creating golems. He hoped to create a golem for every purpose whether it be battling, cooking, or stalking people for intel. However, his research was impeded by a lack of funds. Without the necessary funds to fuel his research, effectively creating golems that could complete any task was a dream right over the hill for him.

This didn’t deter him as he pushed himself into the final stages of his first batch of golems. His funds were nearly enough to complete three of them. Their appearance was based on his late wife; A woman in her twenties with dark skin and luscious short blue dark hair, curling at her lips. The resemblance between the golems and his late wife was astounding.

Now with three completed golems, the man---Siv Howell---dashed outside and towards the adventurers’ guild to share his results. However, he hadn’t known of the issue at hand. A demon lord and his army were pushing towards Locket, tempting to take it over.

Siv dashed to the town center where he noticed a young beastkin girl healing wounded soldiers. Near her was an older human girl watching over the scene, disintegrating garbage that came her way. He ignored the girls for a second, rushing towards the guild to then be caught by one of the receptionists; Bates

“Where have you been?” Bates asked him. “Demons are trying to invade our town.”

“I was in my basement busy with my research. Why are there demons here?” Siv questioned.

Bates shook his head. “You’ve been shut-in for too long. Dungeons filled to the brim of demons have been spotted everywhere over Historia. They appeared out of nowhere. Where are the golems that I’ve heard so much of? We need them now.”

“I finished three golems, but none of them are for fighting.”

Bates’ eyes widened. “Idiot, you haven’t completed the battling golem yet? That’s what the city lord asked you to do. Don’t tell me you wasted his funds on cooking golems!” He exclaimed.

Siv flinched. “One of them is for cooking. The other two are for acquiring intelligence and guarding.”

Bates shook his head, turning around. “I’ll see to it that your research is destroyed. Not only did you waste funds that were meant to be allocated towards the town on your research, but you gave us worthless golems to boot. The town is under attack and your focus was on a golem that can cook? Cook for who, the demons?” He rushed off towards the city lord who had made his appearance, exclaiming to the worried citizens that they were safe. Siv looked down, nodding to himself and muttering “I’ve disappointed you yet again Beatrice. The only thing I’ve done is prove to the world that I should’ve died instead of you. The gods are laughing at me yet again.”

After the demon lord and his small army were exterminated, everybody rushed to fix the minute damages caused during the short-lived invasion. Ashley was assigned as the healer, patching up everybody who was still breathing while Zoe kept the medic’s tent as organized as she could. Rik and Eric, however, had vanished. They couldn’t be found in town nor outside the walls. It was almost as if they were gone.

While people were fixing up the damages, one man strolled up to the main gate of Locket. A nobleman with light brown hair that wrapped around his waist. With an almost feminine look, the nobleman bypassed the guards and skipped towards the adventurers’ guild. As he was near the guild, his eyes lingered onto a fascinating sight for him. He licked his lips as memories of a female screaming entered his mind.

“Oh, Ashley. How joyous it is to see you again. The gods are surely leading me back to you. Once I finish my work, let’s play again.”

Hello All!

Thank you for reading this bonus fifth episode. This episode is meant to introduce new storylines for season three which will see Locket recovering from the short-lived invasion as well as the Demon Hunter party’s temporary residence in the town. Season three, premiering in October 2021, will see the episode count increased to five episodes and reintroduce the new characters introduced in this episode. Brian Hell and his comrades, Siv Howell, and this mysterious nobleman will be important characters for season three and future seasons. However, not every character introduced here will turn out to be an ally…

Until next time, I bid you all a good day.
