Mr. Inuzuka brandished the Fizer katana, revealing his class of Slayer Knight, and slashing at the androids. His attacks destroyed them easily, but Merlin was more difficult to take down. He chained magic attacks, blasting holes in Mr. Inuzuka. The teacher wasn’t enough to bring Merlin down, instead, being taken down himself. He collapsed, riddled with holes, onto the ground. His lights were out, but he wasn’t dead. His body could be healed if done so quickly.
Without the main attacker, the others were doomed. Their fate was heading down the wrong path.
Reid entered the room smirking. He glanced at the students before picking his weapon up into the air and heaving it towards them. His sword pierced through Virginia’s arms, throwing her forward. She collapsed, still living.
Victoria, Casper, and Kelly were the only ones still standing. They were running on fumes. Their near-week-long training was nowhere enough to defeat Merlin and Reid. As their hopes fell into a never-ending abyss, Troy emerged, wielding the swords from earlier; the Lazarus Dual Swords.
He slashed at Reid, who stood nearby the door and managed to inflict real damage against him. Reid jumped back out of fear, summoning a new sword from within him. “The black sheep returns, I see.” He remarked as he swung and missed. Troy charged, wildly swinging at Reid. He dodged the attacks, parrying each of Troy’s uncoordinated strikes. However, this incoordination proved to be in Troy’s favor, seeing as Reid couldn't predict where the next strike would be coming from.
Merlin glanced at Troy and launched a fireball at him. Troy grabbed Reid’s shoulder and with his newfound skill, threw him in front of the fireball. It charred his back, nearly cracking his bones. Troy smirked as he looked at Merlin, but the confidence was short-lived as Merlin’s enraged face cracked him.
Troy took a step back, watching as Merlin summoned an enormous fireball and slammed it down on him. The fireball nearly incinerated him, but a strange flame prevented him. The flame was the same one Troy emitted from his body that killed Angry Husband. It was now protecting him. That flame---demonic flame---was the same reason the Lazarus Dual Swords responded to him. Troy realized that they were demonic weapons and served only demons, but nobody else had known that. They saw it as a normal pair of swords, but Troy knew different.
Demon weapons were extremely strong, nearly toppling countries, however, they had a weakness. It took much training to activate its full potential, something Troy couldn’t do in a single moment. He had barely gotten his hands on the weapon, less time spent on training with it. It couldn’t help him save his friends or himself.
He was beaten to unconsciousness.
Merlin and a charred Reid defeated the others, but before they left, Reid placed a curse on Troy. A curse that changed Troy into a personification of his courage and confidence. His lack of either turned him into a cat.
As the two beings stood out of the window, standing on air. Merlin opened a portal and whispered, “phase one is over. She’ll be happy to hear that.” To his apprentice. Reid nodded and followed Merlin into the portal, glancing at Troy once more before the portal closed, gobbling up both wizards into it.
The class was destroyed and everybody was knocked unconscious, but not killed. Merlin and Reid didn’t kill anybody. However, Merlin wanted to kill Troy but had to restrict himself due to the consequences that would’ve befallen him.
Ten minutes after the battle ended, Hillary and Tanner from the Angel Riders and police officers converged into the classroom, taking the wounded out in stretchers while others began to clean the area up. The casualty rate was zero, a proud thought to the first responders and Angel Riders. Tanner noticed Troy on a stretcher, as a feeble cat, glancing at the weapons at his side. He squinted his eyes before dismissing any actions against Troy. He seemed suspicious of Troy.
Everybody else would recover in two months, and class would return then. During that time, Troy remained as a cat. Word of what happened to him spread around Blueway as rumors of Evil Merlin and his dark apprentice, Reid, began planting themselves in everybody’s minds. The attack, dubbed the Blueway University Terrorist Event, was now common knowledge. Everybody knew the events and that the police were investigating the culprits, but they had disappeared. No traces could be fine, leaving all in the dark. Nobody knew where they were.
Hello All!
Troy: The Demon Knight S1 is over. This thirteen-episode season, with an estimated word count of over 13,000 words, is finally over. This has been a difficult project to work on, but after two months of frantically writing, I’ve completed it. Troy has been renewed for a second season, arriving in August 2021. The series has been renewed for four seasons in total. A fifth season will be based on ratings and motivation.
For anybody wondering, Troy: The Demon Knight is connected to what used to be called Troy Universe, which is now the Historia Universe. Legend, Kira: The Powerful Tamer, Demon Hunter, and some others are in the same universe.
Below are the other series in Generation V, if you wish to read more of my stories.
