The large demon gritted his teeth. “Call for them. We will not lose the war.” He barked.
Britannia nodded. “As you order, my King.”
The King nodded, waving Britannia off. He gripped the large broadsword tightly in his hand. “I WILL NOT LOSE!” He declared - shooting up from his throne. He had two large blackened horns sprouting from his forehead. The color of his face was seventy-five percent night-black and twenty-five percent crimson-red. The percentages slowly shifted in red’s favor as they traveled down his body.
He pointed his sword at the heavens. “They have failed me.” He growled. He glanced at his left hand which gripped nothing but air. He opened his hand, staring at his palm. “It’s time for me to decimate them. Nobody will survive.”
Hello All!
Thank you for reading the first Scrapped Original series. I have a lot of fun writing this short series and I hope you all enjoyed reading it. It was a series of interesting characters and a time period that hasn’t been explored in the Historia Universe (some examples of series in the universe are Legend, Black Hood, Troy: The Demon Knight, and so on). I can’t wait to write the next Scrapped Original whenever that comes, which, spoiler alert, won’t be the next episode.
If you enjoyed this Scrapped Original, please favorite it or leave a comment. Either help me.
Until next time, I bid you all a good day.
Episode Eighteen "Historia Universe 2019 - 2021 Rankings"I WILL UNDO THIS CURSE! I WILL LIVE A NORMAL LIFE. I WILL FIX MY BROKEN FAMILY!

Hello All!
Welcome to a ranking of the first three years’ worth of series set in the Historia Universe. This ranking will cover Legend: Season One (2019), the first-ever canon release, to the most current release: Humanity Versus Demonkind: Season One (2021). Also, remember that this list is subjective and based on my opinion. You may have differing opinions than me. Below will be the nineteen canon releases under the Historia Universe.
19: Starting the rankings is last place, The Adopted Human-Elves: Season One (2019) {Human-Elves}. Human-Elves is slated at last place on this list as it’s an older property that received a 2020 remaster that changed very little and lacked any creative ideas. This series began as a lone series before the 2020 remaster absorbed it into the universe, changing a few details to fit the universe. This series suffered from being too traditional and too close to the stories it was based on. Human-Elves was based on fantasy/isekai manga and didn’t intend on adding anything new, mostly being a basic entry into a slew of stories that didn’t have an ounce of creativity; all the stories lacked creativity and resembled each other. This sticks this series in last place.
18: Following right after 19th place is Archer & Disciple: Season One (2019) {A&D}. A&D suffers a lot of the same problems as Human-Elves, but what saves this series is its 2021 remaster that saw some changes implemented that effectively saved the series from being a complete bore. The inclusion of the main villains being tamed and used as allies is something new for Historia, however, it isn’t enough to save it from being a messy series with little life in it. Hopefully, a sequel season will do the story and characters justice.
17: In 17th place is Demon Hunter: Season One (2019) {Demon S1}. Demon S1 is a mess like the other series and honestly should take A&D’s spot on this list. However, what saves this series is the nostalgia I have for the property and how it wasn’t as bad as A&D and Human-Elves, though I’m sure many people will argue that it isn’t. Nonetheless, Demon S1 holds a special place in my heart as a series that had some strengths and created some interesting characters (though, most of the characterization came in future seasons).
16: John Calamity: The Reincarnation of the Evil God (2019) {JC} takes 16th place on this list. Though this series received a 2020/2021 remaster that provided new details and helped to form the plot, this short story missed the mark entirely. This story had great potential and was meant to inject the universe with new lore and to provide an underdeveloped character a chance to evolve. However, this potential is wasted with the short and rather boring story about John Calamity and his origin story of being summoned to Historia through a familiar goddess.
15: A rather ludicrous placement, in 15th place is the first canon release in Legend: Season One (2019) {Legend S1}. You would assume that this series would hold a special place in my heart and be higher up the rankings, however, my nostalgia that lasted for Demon S1 isn’t there for Legend S1. Instead, it’s overshadowed by regret and a new perspective on the crude writing, messy plot, and strange motivation/characterization. This series was one of my first adventures into the fantasy genre and was molded by the fantasy/isekai stories that were floating around during that time. Legend S1 is a product of the time, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However, it does affect my view on the series as I no longer see it as my magnum opus within the universe. That special award instead goes to other series higher up on this list.
14: The second short story on this list, Kira: The Powerful Tamer - Origins (2019) {Origins}, places 14th. There is not anything massively wrong with this series, but it could’ve been better. Origins suffer from too many jumps around in the timeline as it follows the main points of Kira’s time in Astrial Forest. These time jumps slow down the pacing and may cause confusion as to what’s happening for the readers. Aside from the messy framing of this short story, the characters are interesting and are given some more personality than most of their peers during this time - especially Visa and her sarcastic nature. This story isn’t the best but also not the worst, instead, more of a “meh” installment in this universe.
13: As the first 2020 release on this list, Silos S1 (2020) {Silos}, this series has much to prove about the increase in quality over its 2019 peers. However, this series doesn’t do as well as it should’ve. The series began strong but after a change in the story that forced a rewrite of the outline, it began going on a downward trend. The characters, especially Tina and Calantha, were a highlight of this series and it opened many interesting avenues to travel on in the future. Though, the strong characters don’t make up for the messy ending. In conclusion, the series could’ve ended better, but it was a rather strong series nevertheless.
12: Legends of Old: Season One (2021) {Legends of Old S1} takes 12th place and is the first 2021 entry on this list. This series is a rather strong entry, though it lacks overall content which is an unfortunate side-effect of being a Scrapped Original series. However, it still does its best even with its limitations and even surprised me with how well it came out despite the rather simple outline. Legends of Old S1 doesn’t try to best other franchises in this universe, instead satisfied with telling a simple story about a demon who isn’t like the others and tries to stop the fighting between demons and humans.
11: This placement hurts me the most. Black Hood: Season One (2020) {Black Hood S1} began a revolution in terms of quality control and served as the first real series to be planned out in its entirety before production began. It also served as one of the most fun series to write to date, though most of that enjoyment and nostalgia isn’t enough to bring it up the rankings. However, it’s enough to make sure that this series, which does suffer from poor writing, undescriptive fights, and underdeveloped characters, doesn’t fall under the top 15. Also, as a fun fact, one of my favorite villains is Wick, the main villain of Black Hood S1.
10: Hitting the top ten spot on this list is Guardians: The Sacred Scrolls: Season One (2021) {Guardians S1}. This series is similar to Origins in the sense that it isn’t a bad or good installment in this universe, but more of a “meh” installment. Guardians S1 suffers from fewer mistakes than its peers with only a few complaints directed towards its rather dull and uninspired fights and how it serves as a stepping stone towards an important event within the universe. This story, however, has better characters and is a mostly self-contained fun story away from the grand tales of Legend and other series.
9: In 9th place is Black Hood: Season Two - Ruler of the Slums (2021) {Black Hood S2}. Black Hood S2 is grander in nature than its predecessor and can be considered an improvement in many ways. Though, it does suffer from its repetitive episodes (most are of Spec, the main character, fighting large groups of people) and lacks a lot of the supporting characters from the previous season - Summer, Milena, Liliana, and others. It also suffers from a lack of Wick, but Raife Sartori isn’t a bad replacement. Though, it truly isn’t the same without him. However, even through all of these complaints, Black Hood S2 does what a sequel should - respectfully expand on the original while keeping the main parts of why the first installment was loved.
8: Following after 9th place is Legend: Season Two - Striktin (2020) {Striktin}. This sequel season does exactly what Black Hood S2 does and expands on the sequel on a grander scale. Striktin evolves the characters and helps lead supporting characters with little characterization and development on paths that will make their characters more developed. However, this season suffers from the fact that it’s a crossover season (it crossed over with Origins and Demon S1) and how bloated it was. It attempts to tell too many stories at once and isn’t able to focus on a few characters. Though, this doesn’t take apart from the great feat it accomplished, which was to provide development to its main leads and the supporting characters while balancing the main villain and inclusion of a God or two.
7: Taking 7th place is Humanity Versus Demonkind: Season One: Attack on the Capital (2021) {HvD S1}. The most recent release takes seventh place for a couple of reasons, the main one being that I feel like it was a step down from its predecessor, Humanity Versus Demonkind: Demon’s Imprisonment, which was released the same year. The magic that was in Demon’s Imprisonment isn’t all there in HvD S1. However, the characters’ personalities remain the same and the greater attention on Vice worked to the series’s advantage. In addition, the series had a good outline that propelled the series further with a few hints of creativity and interesting ideas that will help lead into the sequel season.
6: Riding off of 7th place is Demon Hunter: Season Two - Locket (2020) {Locket}. Locket was released a year after the first season and surpassed it in many aspects,
