short period of time to defuse the situation or evacuate. Unfortunately, they couldn’t defeat the fireball, instead, being forced to evacuate. During the chaos, men dressed in trench coats kidnapped Ariana, Teresa, Catrina, and the six orphans before disappearing. The main heroes---Ace, Aver, and Kira---are assisted by an adventurer to locate their kidnapped friends.

After some searching, they locate a building that has their friends inside. The heroes venture inside and are forced to fight one-on-one duels with John’s subordinates---Poppy, Elf, and Hex. Eventually, they defeat the subordinates and kill John Calamity, escaping the building before it explodes.

Striktin is destroyed by the fireball, forcing the citizens to evacuate to the nearby kingdom of Great Wolfstein. However, during the peaceful trip, a group of bandits appeared and forced the carriage holding Ace and his party (excluding Kira and his party and the adventurers) to venture on a different path. Ace, Aver, and new member Ex help clear out the majority of the bandits before a sudden flash of light teleports them away.

Above is a summary of the first two seasons of Legend. This franchise was started in 2019 and, since then, has received a second season. Also, the show will be renewed for two more seasons for the years 2021 and 2022. The possibilities for a season five will be based on ratings.

To continue on the topic of Legend, the third season will see the characters evolving. The female characters will become strong to become heroes. I don’t want to treat them as plot devices. They’ll need to grow up and become stronger to reach the ranks of legends with their own hard work. Ace and the other male characters have demonstrated their strength plenty of times already. However, the male characters will expose their weakness and emotional sides.

Another topic that I want to explore in season three will be the family dynamic between Ace (father), Catrina (wife), and Teresa (child). This family dynamic will be what evolves these characters from one-dimensional to three-dimensional and unique characters. Catrina will shed her maid outfit and adapt to the situation around her while Teresa will be forced to grow up quickly to survive in the hellish world. Ace will have to realize his limits and how far his protection could go. His skills aren’t enough to defeat the big bads of the universe.

Legend: Season One… is a small mess. 2019 saw unedited, unpolished, and no planning seeding itself in the releases. Editing has become a large problem as they dictate when a release comes out (mostly talking about short stories). Also, editing has proved to sap more energy out of me than writing. I describe writing and editing as heaven and hell. One is a paradise while the other… isn’t. This has caused many older stories to be tarnished by grammar mistakes galore. The first season of Legend has been affected by this, leading to a remastered version that will be airing---for a total of fifteen episodes---between August 2020 and October/November 2020. March 2021 - June 2021 will see the second season’s fifteen episodes being remastered.

Legend: Season Two encountered multiple hiccups. Throughout the season, many elements were forgotten. Kira’s pets were left out until the finale (Episode 13). Ace’s ability to control light didn’t make its appearance until the finale. Besides that, the season was hit by low motivation. This affected the future of the season until a sudden spike of motivation allowed for the remaining four episodes to be written. I’m thankful for the motivation, pushing what I had left into planning season three and the future of Legend.

I apologize for anybody who doesn't enjoy rants such as the one above. I, recently, got stuck into the future of Legend and its characters to the point that I felt that this franchise deserved a Scrapped episode. I hope to share more about this series in a future episode(s).

Thank you for reading this episode of Scrapped. If you enjoyed this episode, then favorite/heart/comment on Bookrix or send me a tweet on Twitter, criticizing or praising me at @Nick_Venom_. Until then… I bid you a good day.

Hello All!

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the lack of Scrapped episodes. I have been dedicating most of my time to my other projects and haven’t had enough time to focus on this series or other related series.

Second of all, Jayhawk Alert will stand as a biannual (happens twice a year) event that serves to entertain new and veteran readers of Jayhawk Studio’s properties. This will be similar to ComicCon, Nintendo Direct, and other related information-focused events. Jayhawk Alert will announce/confirm release dates for upcoming stories.

However, this event will be split in half. The first half will occur on March 1st while the second half will be released on August 1st. The reason behind this decision is to ensure that announced releases will be released and not scrapped. Many times I’ve announced a project. To then drop it. I do not wish to do the same for this event. If it’s announced here, I want a 99% - 100% chance of it being released.

The following short section will be a simple self Q & A answering quick questions about this event.

Why March 1th and August 1st?

Those dates weren’t chosen randomly. Jayhawk Television’s Generations begin the first week of the months mentioned, leaving barely enough time for Jayhawk Alert to scramble in. With Jayhawk Alert beginning on the first, it will give ample time between being announced and released.

Another reason is to allow Jayhawk Alert a chance to announce the upcoming Generation entries before release. Moving the second half to September will see that an entire Generation’s worth of entries won’t be announced before their release.

Why did you decide on creating this event?

This is the third version of an information-based service. My first attempt was with Jayhawk News, which has gone through a couple of changes during its time, but that ebook is filled with inconsistencies and mistakes. That’s why that ebook will be taken off the site at Jayhawk Alert’s initial launch. Aside from Jayhawk News, was shorter-lived Jayhawk Chronicles. Both attempts were trashed because of the fake news I’ve spewed in it.

I would announce releases then never release them. It was a constant cycle that I will be putting an end to.

What kind of projects will you be announcing?

I will be announcing projects from every platform under Jayhawk Studio’s ownership. Jayhawk Television, The Underground Tales, Jayhawk+, Two Page Shorts, LI Production’s releases (my second account on Bookrix.com), Revival: A Collection of Shorts, Multiverse: Collection, Solo Series, Jayhawk Studio on Forgefiction.com, and The Explosion Events.

Most of my material will either be flash-fiction length or short-stories.

Will this be a Scrapped-Exclusive?

I have some budding plans for Scrapped moving forward. Original content on Scrapped is a possibility, but that’s something for the future. However, don’t expect the same quality from Jayhawk Television for Scrapped Originals.

As for Jayhawk Alert, it will remain as a Scrapped-Exclusive for the near-future. I don’t have any intention of moving Jayhawk Alert or making it its own thing.

Thank you for reading this quick Q & A. The following will be the beginning of Jayhawk Alert 2021 (½).

Hello All!

Welcome to the first half of Jayhawk Alert 2021. Below I will be announcing projects and their release dates up to June/July. Any releases past the months mentioned will be added to the second half of Jayhawk Alert 2021. All dates will be formatted in the US-style (Month. Day. Year || Month. Year)

Jayhawk Television: Generation VII (Generation Seven)

Black Hood: Season Two - Ruler of the Slums: [Monday]

The second season arriving a year after its predecessor, this sequel season picks up with season one’s finale and sees Spec in the possession of Edurdale’s royal family. Forced to abide by their rules, now as their captive, he is used as a political piece to help clear out the Slums. A large power vacuum popped up in the Slums in Wick’s wake. Multiple gangs sprouted out of Wick’s ashes and are now fighting for dominance and to take the title of ‘Ruler of the Slums.

The first episode will be released on 03.01.21 alongside the initial launch of Jayhawk Alert.

Alternative Universe: Season One: [Wednesday]

A soft-reboot of the 2017 novella---Different Universe--keeps its main character of Amanda and side characters, Andy and Nikki. This series trudges forward with the same plot but with some new characters and a revamped antagonist. Following the initial outbreak, Amanda and friends are forced to survive in a world where the dead rise.

During this first season, Amanda and her group try to survive in a world plagued by the undead. With zombies nipping at their heels and a new threat popping his head in, they’re forced to survive and thrive in a world that doesn’t give them the chance to. They move through a few locations, hoping to remain in one location that isn’t overwhelmed by the undead.

The first episode will be released on 03.03.21.

Legend: Season Two - Striktin: [Thursday]

This isn’t a typo. It isn’t the third season, but the second. This season of Legend will be receiving a soft-reboot due to many inconsistencies, poor planning, and errors plaguing the original work.

Legend: Season Two will see new storylines, characters, and events occurring. Much of the original plot will remain, but the events of how stuff is done will be different. Aside from that, a few parts here and there will be omitted from canon.

Even so, this season is filled to the brim with new ideas and storylines that help characterize this large list of characters and bring them to life.

For people that are fans of John Calamity and his subordinates, you will be overjoyed to hear that they’ll be receiving more time to build out their personalities. See how John has changed from his generic evil guy phase to his plague-by-darkness and slightly mind-controlled phase.

The first episode will be released on 03.04.21.

Terror Hell: Season One: [Saturday]

This soft-reboot of Terror Hell: Season One will see the original revamped and added with new content. Aside from the storyline following Red, there’ll be an addition of the Outpost Crew. Lynn, introduced in season two, will make her appearance in season one as the leader of the Outpost, a budding community.

This soft-reboot was necessary to rebuild Terror Hell’s crumbling foundation and give more time to the Outpost to grow as a community. No, they won’t be destroyed in the second season, but will see some change.

Aside from the Outpost storyline, Red’s story will remain the same but with hints towards the truths behind his fellow survivors. Mert, for example, will be painted in a different light than he originally was.

The first episode will be released on 03.06.21

Destiny: Book One (First Half): [Sunday]

Is it the season for soft-reboots?

It may be! This soft-reboot sees the original material retaining most of its charm. Echo, Ark, and Rouge will return as the main characters, following the same story as the original vision did. However, this soft-reboot will paint the way for future installments.

As for why the title above says “First Half”, it’s because
