“Uh-huh, how’d you guess?” I ask.
“Um, the drab hair, the shitty clothes and you are really pale. There’s this thing called...tanning,” She explains.
“Uh, yeah I know what tanning is. I wasn’t born yesterday,” I say, starting to get mad.
“Well, you could of fooled me. Listen, I can’t be seen talking to you, bye!” She wanders off.
I then run up to her, grab her by her shoulders and break her little nose job off. Nah, i’m just kidding, but seriously that’s what I really wanted to do. She needs to lay off the bitchy-pills or something. I then get my drink and bring it to the cash register. Next, I run outside to see if she was still there. I look all over and of course, she’s no where to be seen. I walk across the street and spot mom. I run across the street and I don’t tell mom what just happened. That would scare her to death and I wouldn’t be able to go outside on my own, again.
“Took long enough. You okay?” Mom asks, sounding worried.
“Yeah, I just tripped, but it’s all good,” I explain.
“You tripped for 10 minutes?” Mom questions, knowing somethings up.
“Uh, I dropped my drink so I had to get a new one and the line was long and...” I explain, not finishing my sentence.
“Okay, I understand,” Mom laughs.
