hi my name is Julia and I'm 2 1/2 years old. I'm half husky, half wolf. I'm pure white and live in Alaska, I have blue eyes, pink nose and I'm about 1 1/2 the size of a regular size dog. And I have a adventure to tell you...

i was curled up underground in my den when i heard my owner call us "hay mutts get out here now"! i knew that if i didn't go i would be in big trouble but instead i just curled in deeper.when i awoke i found myself jolting up with a shock and bumped my head on the snow above me in the den. i went outside in the bright light and breathed in the cold air when i realized with a shock that every body and everything was gone.

i was suprized, I mean I knew my owner didn't like me but, to go this far was bazaar. then i started to get lonely but that's when i heard this beautiful song come from up the hill. i knew that the voice came from wolves that lived in the wilderness, cause my mother,Carmen, told me about how the voices dance across the sky like a bird. and are a little like our howl-like voices but much much more beautiful. that's when i decided to go to them.

I was sneaking up upon them and saw about ten to eleven of them and they were actually bigger than me! I'm 1 1/2 the size of regular sized dogs, but the females where 1 3/8th the size of regular sized dogs, and the males were 1 2/3rd the size of regular sized dogs but the alpha male was 1 3/4 the size of regular dogs... I fit right in!

I was in a foggy cloud wile i continued to sneak up on them i noticed that the alpha male was gone! i started to scan for him when i heared someone behind me say, in a deep voice "what are you doing here"? i spun around and stared at the alpha male. i didn't know what to say, and all you could hear coming out my mouth was "I.. I.. I...". i was speachless. "well"? "I'm lost and lonely, you see my owner hates me and when he called us to leave, i didn't go, i was sleepy and didn't want to listen to him he's mean, i mean he barely even fed us, he hated us exspesally me, why do you think I'm so skinny?and..." "wait you had a owner?" "ya why?" "because we don't like owners!"

"But i didn't like him, and he was mean and, wait... I'm not a whole wolf." "your not?" " I'm part wolf and part husky, but at least I'm part wolf and... hay whats your name?" "Amoraq." "wow" such a beautiful name, i thought "wait but you said your all alone?" asked Amoraq "ya why." "well because... we need more wolfs, i mean part wolf or wolfs like you, you see... people have been taking us one by one, and now there are barley any left... you see how there's only eleven of us? well there used to be 21 of us. and its because of humans..." he stopped and looked at her, she was tapping her front paw indicating for him to hurry up and get to the point. "would you like to join our pack?" he blurted out quickly

"hay who's this?" said Keroku, a white wolf with a black muzzle "um... this is..." "Julia" "ya Julia I knew that... this is your new packmate so no getting rough." then there started to be a crowed. I could just hear them saying "Who is she?"... "what is she doing here?"... "did Amaraq really let a mutt in the pack?"... then Amaroq said "She's not a mutt she is a wolf with a little bit of husky... just because she smells a little different doesn't mean she is. Now if any of you have a problem with that then you better talk to me. Understand?" "yes, we do Amoraq" said the ones said that didn't give Amoroq a sneaky dirty look.

so as the days passed the pack eventually got used to her, at first she was an outsider no one except the ones who didn't give Amoraq a dirty look talked to her, her new wolf friend, Sierra, another female wolf that's somewhat white, would talk to her, but now every wolf would share a conversation at least once a month. then after two more weeks she was EVERY body's buddy...
but still, little did they expect that she would, some day save them all...
