I wrote this song as an original for Christmas at my church. I hope you enjoy the words.

You all know the story of Christmas, bout the guy with a long white beard. He's big and fat with a red suit on, rides a sleigh pulled by reindeer. But do you really know Christmas? Cause it ain't about Saint Nick. It's about a star and a special baby in a stable behind an inn.

It's time to open up your eyes. You can't have Christmas without Christ! I'm officially amazed, the world has thrown God down the drain, when it comes to celebration. It's like we've all been, the world has been, Holidazed! Holidazed!

We all know the stories of Easter, the egg and candy bearing hare. He hides them all around the house and yard, not to much to explain there. But do you really know Easter? Cause the rabbit's a disguise. It's really about a special man who on a wooden cross did die. 

It's time to open up your eyes. Jesus died and rose in three days time! I'm officially amazed, the world has thrown God down the drain, when it comes to celebration. It's like we've all been, the world has been, Holidazed! Holidazed!

In God we trust, our motto once, here in America. But things have changed, we've gone astray, now we're celebrating fakes, Jesus died to save our lives! (Repeat once more.)

 I'm officially amazed, the world has thrown God down the drain, but that is something we can change! Shine your light and chase the darkness away! Listen to what I have to say, we can work to beat the world-wide Holidaze.

Keep Christ in your heart, remember what these holidays are all about. Praise God's perfect name, shine your light and teach the world to do the same, and fight the Holidaze.
