Classroom Dove...

With the sun beating down,
We step into a sea of wooden chairs,
A calm, placid class.

Encased in cupboards, are
books, warm in their non-fictitious settings,
Fiction rainbows and written whites,
like posters in a poster-y shop.

Then suddenly and silent,
a flutter through the window,
perches a respiring pearl,
a pulsing chest on the move,
again.

A gem in sumptuous pearl-white,
With stately grace,
the light-cream dove awaits...

Life Lessons...

To get respect,
You need respect,
Only then will your life be correct.

To get joy when you play,
You need happiness everyday,
Only then will you be going the right way.

To get a smile,
From a young child,
Is like your life is going wild.

To get something from sharing,
You need to be caring,
And then will your kindness always be flaring,
Only then will your heart need no repairing...

Life...

Being struck with a knife,
and going through strife,
Oh well, I guess that's just life.

Death before my eyes,
Through a city of hatred and lies,
Life is truly something to despise.

Peace is a mystery,
All of it is history,
No more chemistry.

Where are they now?...

Looking beyond me I see,
The happiness on the faces of my parents,
As they hold a new child,
That child has grown up,
Where are they now?

They see the child alone,
And rush up to it,
That child is alone,
Where are they now?

Lonely, in a foster home,
I sit,
But where are they now?

Bloodshed,
Has spread,
Through cities and streets,
Many,
Are dead,
By the harmful fleets.

Sirens,
Go off,
At the sight of a plane,
Enemies attack,
Bombs drop,
Process happens all over again.

Believe...

We've all lost loved ones,
Where we want to cry,
But we fight back our tears,
And hold our heads up high.

They've only left,
Because they believe,
That our dreams are not just fantasies,
They're waiting to be achieved.

So, like our loved ones,
Let's all trust,
In our dreams which are not just fantasies,
And fail if we must.

But we'll get up off the ground,
And dust off our knees,
And try and try again,
Until we succeed.

Because our loved ones believed,
Therefore, so should we.

Deadly Rainforest...

You enter my bounty,
With hopes of discovery,
But little do you know,
You have no hope of leaving.

I shelter you with my canopies,
You you don't value me,
Now it's time to feel my fury,
My ire, you will see.

I raise the roots of my trees,
Just to trip you up,
How special do you feel?
You're my victim, ,my target, my winning cup.

Once where I revealed my path,
Now I shower upon you, my wrath!

I feel your trembles,
I sense your fear,
Silently I creep,
Without a care,

Of the destruction I will cause,
And the tragedy you will endure,
The pain that you will suffer,
Remember me ever more.

You will have,
a moment of epiphany,
And then you'll see,
I have the power in me,

To destroy your reality,
And destroy your peace of mind,
I will turn your world upside down,
And leave your bounties behind.
