Along time ago there was a mysterious ship called the Titanic. It was one of the biggest ships made fully out of metal the world had ever known. Of course you would thinkthat if a ship was made out of metal it would most certainly sink butin this case it didn’t. Anyway one very happy day (at least they thought,) the ship took sail. 30 minutes after the ship took off there was a big CRASH! The Titanic crashed into an iceberg. The boat began to slant upward and unfortunately the passengers on the bottom part of the boat had to hurry up to the top of the boat or they would drown. Some scientist think that the Titanic sunk because when the Titanic hit the iceberg there were some weak spots in the metal that gave in. Others say that when the Titanic hit the iceberg a big hole was created in the bottom part of the boat. I say that it’s just a…true mystery. Now since you’ve saw all the facts about the Titanic I know about how about you listen to a story I made up about the Titanic. Butfirst I want you to hear about how I was inspired to write this story. One day in writing class our topic to write down in our journal was about the Titanic. So if you have ever experienced the same thing I have you would have had one of those teachers who gets started on a specific topic, never stops talking about it, and always gives you all the information she/he can give. Well not saying she’s a bad teacher and all in fact she’s a pretty good one too but that particular day she could never stop talking about the Titanic. At first I thought it would be a pretty boring topic but when I sat and listened for awhile I soon became very interested in it. She inspired me to work hard on my book about the Titanic and she will always be remembered to me as one of the greatest historical teachers ever! God gave me an exciting teacher and I knew it!The day before the embarking of the Titanic everyone was getting ready to set sail on the magnificent cruise ship! A girl named Elisa and her mother were getting ready for the trip as well. Elisa was 14 years old and a huge drama queen on the other hand her mom was 39 and extremely bossy. ”Mom!” said Elisa in an excited but annoyed tone of voice”What!” her mom shouted back. “I was just going to remind you that it’s already 9:00 p.m. and you have not fixed supper yet.” she said in an unconvincing innocent voice. “Oh Elisa, you know you’re already going to have supper at 12:00 p.m.!” ”Fine!” Elisa said. Then she ran to her room to get her luggage for the trip. By the time it reached 12 0’ clock Elisa was starving. ”Mom I’m hungry!” “Alright, alright!” “I’ll make you a sandwich !” her mom said. After they ate there lunch and talked forever they finished up packing their luggage for tomorrow and went to bed. Elisa could not sleep that night. She was thinking about what might go wrong on the cruise. “Well” she whispered to herself. “The worst thing that could happen was if it rained.” “As long as I have the knowledge that God willprotect me I’ll be safe!” She did get the part about God protecting her right, but she was wrong about raining being the worst thing that could happen on the cruise. Anyway back to the story. Finally she fell asleep after reading her favorite story from the bible. “Ring!” went her alarm clock. She sleepily hit the snooze button and woke up. Once she got dressed she noticed her bible she forgot to pack on her bedside table. She quickly took it and gently put it in her bag with the other entire luggage. She met up with her mom and they both walked together to the docks were the Titanic was. They climbed aboard the Titanic and went to their room where they would be staying for the cruise. “Hurry up!” Elisa shouted to her mom. “Were almost to our room!” Once they got there Elisa’s mom went to take a nap not even unpacking before she took her nap. Elisa decided to spend her time wisely by reading her favorite part of the bible. 30 minutes after the ship took sail there was a loud crash! “Quick to the deck of the ship, the ship has hit an iceberg!” The voice on the intercom said. Elisa and her mom ran as fast as they could to the deck. As the ship began to sink Elisa got to the very top of the deck and said: “That’s it!” “I’m going to jump!” “Don’t try to stop me!” Before Elisa could jump her mom caught her by the wrist and turned her around to face her. “Now Elisa don’t you think your being just a little dramatic?” “No.” Elisa lied. Her mom then slapped her across the face for lying causing Elisa to fall off the ship! After she fell she yelled to her mother, “I’m okay!” “I fell in one of the boats on the side of the ship!” But I fear it was too late for her mother had already gone to one the ship’s supply closets that was not underwater yet, got a lit lantern, and murdered herself with it. Before she died she took a piece of paper out of her pocket and wrote ELISA with her own blood.30 years later…Elisa now was an underwater explorer and in a submarine explored the remains of the Titanic. She found a lantern and examined it. Stuffed inside the lantern was a sheet of paper with the bloody word ELISA on it. Then she knew that her mom was the cause of the Titanic’s explosion. “The fire must have reached the ship’s gas tanks causing the ship to explode. Then she checked the room that she had been staying in for clues. There on the floor was her bible opened to her favorite part of it and it read, “DO NOT BE AFRAID FOR THE LORDYOUR GOD IS WITH YOU.” After she read that blurry sentence she said to herself: “Dear god thank you for watching over my mom.” Then she took a knife nearby and stabbed herself in her heart to join her mother in heaven.
