Chapter one..

I watched as she yawned and stretched her body, I saw her shirt raise at the bottom and she saw me looking, she arched her brows and gave me a small smirk. “Perv!” She whispered to me and laughed. I rolled my eyes playfully and looked back down at my paper. I looked up at the clock and watched as the second hand hit the 12. The bell rang. Everyone rushed out, I grabbed my binders and pencil bag and walked out. I watched. I watched as every one bumped into each other. As that one kid no one talks to dropped his things. As a fight broke out in the middle of the hall. As that one girl everyone thought was a whore, Got slapped in the face by her new ex boyfriend. I watch as were all the same.. We just don’t watch as clearly.

"Bennett! Wait up,” Caleb said directly.

“I’ve been standing here the whole time, What do you mean wait up?” I questioned.

He laughed and we started walking down the hall. He started talking about some guy that gets on his nerves in science. I got to my locker and he patted me on my back and kept walking. I started turning the lock. 27-31…

“Ben” She said and I froze. I smiled and looked at her, She has the most beautiful eyes… “you're staring again perv,” She laughed and I looked down and blushed.

“Well thats because you had food on your face.” I laughed and touched her cheek. then turned around and looked at her face in her locker mirror.

“Do not you jerk,” She laughed and pushed me playfully. “Anyway, Are you coming over tonight? Its thursday.. Like old days you use to come over and help me with my homework.” I stayed quiet and opened my locker and put all my things in there “You know since we started high school I thought we could start over. Be best friends again.”

“You know Claire, You’re really cool.” I sighed and shut my locker.

“Forget it I tried..” She mumbled and shut her locker.

“No, Claire.. Its not like that, Its just… You don’t wanna be seen with me. Im that kid with staring problems… And you’re Claire Weathers. Cheerleader.” I said bitter.

“Well.. Stop by if you want to.” She said uncertain and walked off.
